For the 2018 Flea and Tick season, we will be dispensing Simparica.  It is a pleasant tasting oral medicine given every 30 days for the control of fleas and ticks.  It is new and superior to what we have had to offer in past years.  Its speed of kill is quicker, it lasts slightly longer, targets an additional tick species that are old medicine did not, and is slightly less expensive than what was dispensed previously.

Drs. Hennis, Rowan, and Schaming advise vaccination with the new bivalent canine influenza vaccine for any pet that has exposure to other dogs.  The new strain has outbreaks with fatalities as close as Toledo and Columbus!  Boarding kennels and pet day care facilities will soon require this vaccine if not now!
